LITMAS Research & Learning Foundation is a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, dedicated to transforming science education through research, innovation, and experiential learning.
We believe that every child is naturally curious. The purpose of education is not merely to transfer knowledge but to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and scientific temperament. Unfortunately, many children still experience science only through textbooks, with limited opportunities for observation, experimentation, and inquiry.
LITMAS was established to bridge this gap.
Our work focuses on making science education engaging, activity-based, and accessible for all learners, particularly those studying in government and underserved schools. Through teacher capacity building, educational research, STEM outreach, community engagement, and innovative learning models, we strive to create classrooms where children learn science by doing rather than memorizing.
At LITMAS, we envision education as a powerful tool for building responsible citizens, empowered communities, and a scientifically informed society capable of solving real-world challenges.
Together, we are igniting curiosity and inspiring change.
To build an India where every child experiences science through curiosity, experimentation, innovation, and meaningful learning, irrespective of geography, socio-economic background, or educational opportunity.
We envision a future where scientific thinking becomes a way of life, empowering individuals and communities to solve problems, make informed decisions, and contribute to a sustainable and equitable society.
